The family will receive their friends and family at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ on Sunday, July 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral mass celebrating her life will be offered at St. Joseph’s Church, 44 Benvenue Avenue, West Orange, on Monday, July 24 at 10AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ.
Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Lincoln Park for over 50 years. She married Joseph Gryszko in May, 1961. As a United State citizen, Mary and her family survived WWII in Poland, and after the war, she and her family returned to the United States. Mary’s career was as an aircraft technician with the Bendix Corporation and the Kearfott Corporation.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph. Surviving are her beloved sister, Wanda Gajdek, and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
