Mary Plathottathil (nee: Manthuruthil), 73, of East Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Her family will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Saturday, 8 until 10 AM followed by the Funeral Mass to be offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, at 11 AM. Committal service will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Mary was born in India and has lived in East Hanover since 1983. She was a nurse at the East Orange Veterans Hospital for 26 years retiring in 2002.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John Joseph, her devoted children: Rani and Rony Mani, Soya Smith, Sudeep and Sujith John and Mary was the loving grandmother of eleven; she was also survived her siblings: Simon, Kunjumol, Stephen, George, Tresiamma and the entire Manthuruthil family.
