

Peter was brilliant, kind and generous of heart . He graduated top of his class at Livingston High School while participating in the Golf and Debate clubs. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1966 with a Chemical Engineering Degree. After graduating, he joined the military as an Airman First Class in The United States Air Force. He went to work for the Patent Office in Washington DC while attending Georgetown Law School for almost 2 years before being forced into early retirement and was honorably discharged with a service related injury. He lived the golden era of his years helping to raise the next generation as a beloved part of the extended family.
Peter Thomas was an amazing uncle, brother and son. He was funny, jovial and high spirited. He always had a joke or kind word for anyone he met. He had a strong faith and altruistic heart. He was especially fond of his great-nephew Dylan Fusco (Racheal) and took great interest in helping to support his success.
He is survived by his sisters Agnes T. Reichenbacher and Gloria B. Thomas and his brother John Thomas. His nephews David and Jason Reichenbacher and niece Racheal Thomas .
Cremation will be private. A service will be held at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Annex with date and time to be determined.
