She was a great woman at my brother Noe’s wedding she was so kind a real lady.

Rachel will always hold a special place in my heart.  When I think of her, I think of Grace….I think of kindness, love, Jesus, and those warm & fuzzy feelings you get when she gave you that hug you needed.   One of my favorite memories of Rachel was on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant.  I  was stung by a bee and it was really swelling.  Rachel walked the boardwalk with me & Auntie (Carol) knocked on a few doors looking for mud for my bee sting! It’s hard to find mud at the beach.  Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Rest In Peace ❤️  Sending lots of hugs and prayers. 

I grew up as much at the Fogarty's house on Hazel Ave as I did at home a couple blocks away, and spent time at Rachel's playing, babysitting and getting hair cuts.  I remember Mrs Deltufo, as I called her when I was a kid, as warm and loving. Even when I arrived late back home, if I told my mom that Rachel had asked me to run to the corner Shop Rite to pick up something for her, all was forgiven...we all liked Rachel so much. 
I hadn't seen Rachel in years, until just a couple of Christmas's ago. Pat Desmond and I went to her home for dinner. It was just like I remembered .... wonderful and welcoming...and I ate a lot! What a blessing. Hugs to all the family.

Although I have known Rachel for 38 years, the memory I want to share is from very recent, as a testimony of how faithful she was to the very end.  In September I had to have same day surgery and the call I got from Rachel to encourage me was not by text or even voice.  She facetimed me even though the situation she was facing was much more serious than mine, and she helped me with my anxiety and prayed with me. She went above and beyond the call of duty.  
There was one more funny memory.  She was a great speaker and teacher in our church but she never failed to compare her speaking style to that of Norm Crosby.  Look him up on YouTube if you don't remember!  Hilarious, but she was nothing like him.  Rest in Peace with our Savior and we will see you soon. 

To her nieces and nephews, she wasn't "Rachel" or "Aunt Rachel", but ZieZie. I have aunts and uncles of my own, but I had never had a ZieZie before. I'm very happy that changed.

I first met ZieZie at her house in the summer of 2010 soon after I started dating my wife, her niece Christine. This was my first time meeting any of Christine's relatives, and I soon learned that I would be meeting what seemed like her entire family simultaneously. To say I was nervous was an understatement, but I have rarely had anxiety melt away quicker than it did that day.  I felt instantly as welcome as I would have been in my own family, and that only became stronger over the next 10+ years.

ZieZie's love for her family and her zest for life was overflowing, and I'm glad I was able to experience it myself. She will be greatly missed, and we're all better for having known her.

I feel so fortunate to have run into Rachel at the Walmart on October 7th to see her smiling face one more time.  She was in true Rachel fashion while I was buying mums saying…”Excuse me lady but save some mum’s for the rest of us!” 😂.   I said oh!!!! Hi Rachel!!!!  I will always remember her sense of humor and infectious laugh, always making everyone around her smile.  

I hope Rachel is dancing and laughing with all of her loved ones that have passed.  Hopefully she found my mom because they always had so much fun together.

I was a high school friend of Rachel's (Belleville High Class of 1965).
I had gone to grammer school, St. Francis  Xavier, and when I started Belleville High I did not know anyone. Rachel was in my gym class (where she could always make us laugh) and I remember her being a tall strong person.  She immediately made me feel welcome and I believe we had some other classes together, as well as lunch period.  She had the biggest personality  and smile and I liked her  very much.  Unfortunately, we did not see each other after high school. Please accept my deepest sympathy to your entire family.

Dear Anthony and family
I’m so sorry to hear of Rachel’s passing. It seems ironic and unbelievable that she and Margie have passed so close to each other. They were like sisters, both wonderful people with beautiful smiles, contagious laughs, and always full of fun. The were also hairdressers. It seems like they were a match made in heaven. They are now both angels . I guess their beloved “Jesus “ needed them together to sit by his side to brighten up heaven. They will be truly missed.

We only had the blessing of interacting with Rachel Deltufo  during the weekend of her granddaughter’s wedding. Her beautiful granddaughter, Abriana, is our son’s bride. Consequently, we hosted a lunch at our home on the eve of their wedding. Upon meeting Rachel,  any nervousness about hosting  immediately disappeared. She was very warm and friendly, and appreciative of the meal we had prepared. In that short time, it was evident that her faith was deep and sincere.  She also knew how to celebrate. At the wedding reception, she and  MeMa out danced many people half their age! It was also fun to watch them recall past times together. We’re so sorry for your loss of such a loving woman. Thank you for being a spiritual role model to so many.  You are loved and will be missed deeply.  I miss talking to you but I know you and my mom are dancing and laughing together now.  Rest in peace.
