Ralph N. Capone

Ralph N. Capone, age 85, of West Orange, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 6, 2013. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church 44 Benvenue Avenue West Orange, NJ, on Monday November 11, 2013 at 10 AM. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Sunday November 10, 2013 from 4-8 PM. Mr. Capone was a self-made man who was well respected as an attorney and friend, he worked his way through Fordham University and Fordham Law School, after serving his country in the Army immediately following WW II. He was a member of both the New York and New Jersey Bar. He was a member of the West Orange Lions and a longtime communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in West Orange. Beloved husband of the late Theresa M. Capone, devoted father of Maria Thompson (Paul) and Sharon Capone-Gries ( Richard), loving grandfather of Meredith Thompson, dear brother of Mary Viscuse and Gloria Mattei, brother in law of Justin McCarthy. Ralph is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
