

Richard T. Eyrich, 69, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 30, 2015. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Thursday, 3-8 PM. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 AM followed by the entombment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Richard was born in Newark and was a life-long resident of Livingston. He gratefully served his country in Vietnam joining the Army in the 101st Airborne Legs in 1966 and honorably discharged in 1968. He was the owner of Eyrich Landscaping and retired in 2013 after 45 years. Richard was an avid sportsman and especially appreciated fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Patti (Riccardello), his loving son Nick and his wife Katie, his cherished grandson Eduardo “Eddie” and his siblings: Edward H. and wife Trish, Donald G. and wife Linda and Kathleen I. Sullivan and fiancé Dennis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
