Robert Steven Zeuner

Robert Steven Zeuner, 47, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Livingston. His family will receive friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Thursday, 1-6 and 7-9 PM; additional parking will be available at Temple Beth Shalom, 193 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Everyone is invited directly to St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, on Friday at 10 AM for the Funeral Mass celebrating Robert’s life. The committal service will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Robert was raised in Glen Ridge where he graduated high school in 1983 and continued his education at Montclair State University. He retired as Sergeant in 2012 from the Glen Ridge Police Department after twenty-three years of dedicated service. Robert was a member of the Glen Ridge PBA Local #58 and was inducted into the Glen Ridge Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009.

Surviving is his loving and devoted wife Nicole (Berrian), his beloved daughters, Jessica Kristine and Jamilyn Clara and his most cherished dog, Maximus (aka: “The General”); his parents Dolores Hinton, Robert H. and Sally Zeuner, his mother-in-law Lillie Platt his loving siblings: Donna Zeuner, Adrienne Bowden, Tiffany Dickman, Matthew Zeuner and countless relatives and lifelong friends and colleagues. Flowers are welcome as well as donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Robert’s memory.
