

Ninoy was born and raised in the Philippines. He graduated from The Magsingal Institute and earned his degree in accounting from University of the East. He moved to the US almost 50 years ago. He was most recently a resident of West Orange, but lived in Livingston, New Jersey for nearly 40 years.
A man of deep faith and quiet devotion, Ninoy was known for his gentle spirit and kind heart, which left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He was a dedicated officer of Barangay of the Virgin. He loved music and enjoyed singing along to his favorite songs. He had a competitive spirit, watching sports (especially golf) and playing Mahjong.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zenaida (Aguilar); parents, Geronimo and Marciana (Alipio) Ulibas; and his siblings, Juan Ulibas, Victoria Pajara, and Domingo Ulibas.
He is survived by his two daughters, Rachel Macaluso (her husband Michael) and Arlene Espino (her husband Jan), and his two granddaughters, Gabriella and Romy Macaluso.
Visitation will be held at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039, US, on March 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, 346 E Mt Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039, US, on March 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery & Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936, US, on March 9, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
