Stuart was born on February 17, 1947, in Newark, NJ, to parents, John Milton and Catherine Cummings (Ferguson) Vreeland. He graduated from Livingston High School in 1966. He was employed by Hertz Corporation in Morristown, NJ.
Stuart is survived by his sister, Carol Campbell; niece, Amy Wagner; and nephew, Andrew Campbell.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039, from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
