Timothy J. Byrne, age 56, of West Orange, NJ, passed away at home on Sunday October 14, 2012. A memorial gathering will be held at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Friday October 19, 2012 from 7-9 PM with a Memorial service at 8 PM. Tim was a kind and loving person, he cared about the welfare of all animals. Devoted son of Mary Dourney Byrne and the late William F. Byrne. Dear brother of Kathleen and her husband James Lennon, Kevin and his wife Jill Byrne, Sharon and her husband Dr. Howard Cox, Maureen and her husband Russell Bauer, and the late William and his late wife Barbara Byrne. Timothy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He is survived by his friend and former wife Sue Byrne and predeceased by his loving companion Michele Monticello. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter 194 Route 10 West East Hanover, NJ 07936-2701.
