

Mr. Rose died peacefully at his home in Johnstown, Colorado, surrounded by his family on July 23, 2018 at the age of 87. He was born July 8, 1931 in Colony, Kansas to Charles and Grace Rose.
Orville graduated from Boulder High School. He joined the Air Force as an Air Force Police Officer he received the Army of Occupation Medal (Germany); National Service Defense Medal also a Good Conduct Medal. He was assigned to the 4911th AP Sq. (ARDC). After Orville was Honorably discharged he was employed with the City of Boulder Municipality as their Surveyor and became their Registered Land Surveyor and Director of Inspection Services, serving for approximately 35 years for the City.
Orville married Kathy on October 31, 1969 and was going to celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary. They raised their Children; Pamela Brand, James Coonrod; Charles Rose and Wendi Rose Garcia in Boulder and Longmont. They moved to Johnstown where they lived for 22 years. He had the pleasure of experiencing 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Orville loved golfing, going up to Blackhawk and carving things out of wood.
Visitation will be 3-7pm Monday, July 30th at Howe Mortuary. Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, at 11:15am, Staging Area C.
