Alene Marie Trott

She was first and foremost a homemaker, always making herself available for her husband and her children. She was also a member of the Sigma Beta Phi Sorority in Longmont.

Survivors include her husband Robert Trott of Longmont, her son Ron (Gemma) Taggart of the Philippines and her daughter Judy DiGiacomo of Longmont. She is further survived by her grandchildren Jay (Debbie) DiGiacomo of Golden, CO, Janna (Dan) DiGiacomo-Maxwell of Longmont, Patrick Todd (Jodi) Taggart of Douglas, MI, Jeffrey (Liza) Taggart of Brownwood, TX and Robert (Terri) Taggart of Castalia, OH., her brother Joe Cox of Florida and sister Melba Moody of Coeur D’Alene, ID. There are several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also surviving.

Alene was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband Les Taggart.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Darrell Howe Mortuary in Lafayette, CO. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
