Alesha Rashell Marti, 34 of Greenwood Village, CO, formerly of Johnstown, CO, passed away April 12, 2021. Alesha was born June 12, 1986 in Orlando, Florida. She was raised by Sallie Marti and Phil and Jane Marti.
Alesha grew up in Longmont and Johnstown. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, CO, where she was part of the cheerleading squad. She also attended CU in Colorado Springs and Arapahoe Community College. She worked for a landscape and snow removal company in Denver, scheduling, contracting and processing payroll. She also worked many years for the Denver Broncos.
Alesha was an excellent bowler in her teens and twenties. She loved spending time with her family and friends. However, her favorite moments where the times spent with her son.
She was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin and mom. She was a ray of sunshine with a beautiful smile and was often a force to be reckoned with. She loved fiercely with a heart that she gave unconditionally. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.
Alesha is survived by her by her son Xavier Lux; her grandparents Sallie Marti of Johnstown, CO, Phil and Jane Marti of Beaufort, SC; mother, Christine Marti Merrick of Florida, and father George Cope of Colorado; aunts Tish Marti, Kharen Marti (Joe) Spence, Jennifer Marti, and Susan Pratt; brother Joel Phillip Cope, and sister, Marnina Colby; cousins, Brandon (Alissa) Sauer, Amber (Tyler) Herr, and Ryan (Kellsey Black) Johnson and Nicolle Pratt; and by her 2nd cousins Claire and Evelyn.
A private family graveside service will be held on April 30, 2021 in Longmont, Colorado.
