Alex R. Baca, age 43 of Longmont died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital. Mr. Baca was born December 3, 1969 in Longmont to Robert and Viola (Sandoval) Baca. Alex worked in the construction industry throughout his adult life. He was considered a good friend and enjoyed entertaining friends in his home and cooking green chilies, chicken noodles and barbequing.
Survivors include his mother, Viola Baca of Longmont; 3 brothers; Bobby of Yuma, Colorado, Louie, Roger and Richard all of Longmont; 3 sisters; Margaret Baca, Valerie Baca-Hankens and her husband William and Pauline Cunyas all of Longmont. In addition, his aunt, Linda Knowles of Longmont, also survives Alex.
Memorial services will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at the Carroll Lewellen Mortuary Chapel. Services will conclude at the chapel. Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary.
