I had the privilege of being Alice's PT a few times, and I am not exaggerating when I say she was my favorite patient I have ever had.  She became a friend whom I loved.  SO many stories, but a couple favorites.  -I will never forget watching from the window when she fell in the parking lot helping a friend get off the bus.  I was so afraid she was hurt, and positive that I would be working with her again - but knew she was okay when I saw her smiling and laughing and pretty much flirting with the firefighters!  She fell again at a later time, and was upset that they didn't send the young cute ones!  I loved going to get her in her room and watching on her computer when Old Faithful was about to go.  And I loved talking about Broncos, animals, family and life with her.   I know she is happy to be reunited with Ralph and with her grandson, and I know she is keeping things stirred up!  Alice was one of the sweetest, funniest and kindest people I have ever known and those who were lucky enough to know her will never forget her.  My deepest sympathy to Alice's family who she loved dearly.  Ann Wiley

My Aunt Alice had such a beautiful smile and the sweetest laugh of any one. I am so blessed that in Oct 2020 My brother Grant and I was able to have lunch with her an Valerie. Such a great time. Laughed and talked about when we were  kids .  I will always carry a place in my heart for her.  We shared the same birthday  which I felt special. RIP  AUNT ALICE YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED AND ALWAYS LOVED


I remember with great fondness the times I was with Alice.  The first time I met her and spent time with her was at the awesome Christmas Silent Auction and I remember singing the silly 12 days of Christmas...oh my gosh that was SO fun!  I loved how easily you laugh.    And I thank you Alice for raising such a wonderful daughter in Val.  

   Alice told me that her mother's name was Mabel Lewis Johnson. I was surprised and told her my name is Mabel (Irene) Lewis Long. We both decided we should be Sistas and thereafter we adopted this stance and enjoyed years of appreciating each other and encouraging each other.  We were the two oldest people attending Hygiene United Methodist Church. Now my Sista is gone and I shall miss her wisdom and wit a lot because she taught me so much about life and how to live it.  "Sista! Save me a seat so I can sit beside  you when I get there!"


I am a cousin from Salinas California. I met her a couple years ago and enjoyed our conversation. A very loving person.

Alice was such a sweet personality!!  Altho I got to know her just in the last 10 years, she was such a good example to me.  Always smiling and joking,  I loved how she was such a bronco fan.  Her hugs were fantastic and sure have missed her these last couple of years.  What a sweet face!  Keep them laughing in heaven, Alice, and it's going to be a super reunion someday!!  Love you!

Alice was my favorite aunt she was beautiful outside and inside as well.
I remember going to school with Alice I was in the first grade and I believe she was in the fourth or fifth grade at potato Hill School.
Also remember when we were kids making mud pies in her playhouse and mud popsicles.
Also Charlene and I were candle lighters at Alice and Ralph's wedding and we wore orchid dresses that my my mom Arlene made.
She will always be missed each and every day and now she will be with her brothers and husband.

Alice was such a fantastic lady, and I am so thankful God blessed us with her presence for so many years.  She was one of the most wonderful and genuine people I have ever met.  She always had a good attitude and was willing to help anyone around her that needed it.  No matter what was going on in her life, she was always saying or doing something funny or telling a funny story.  Every time we were together, we were always laughing about something.  She was an avid Bronco fan.  I loved seeing her alternating Bronco nail polish and Bronco attire on the Sunday’s they played.  We got to know each other really well when we posted the cash and made the deposit together each week after church.  We did this together for years.  We had to balance between our two functions.  She would always ask me what number I got, I would tell her, then she would say “What???”, and then we would start laughing.  Then we would figure out where we were wrong and would always balance the second time.  We would laugh because it happened in that order every single week.  We would joke that we were so glad no one else was in there with us because they would either be very concerned or just think we were plain crazy.  We had a lot of fun and those are my fondest memories of Alice.  I would always get a beautiful smile and great big hug from Alice every week at church.  After Covid, I was so thankful to Janis Johnson for bringing Alice to our parking-lot church so we could see her and talk to her after service.  Even though I couldn’t get my hug from her, it meant so much to be able to talk to her through a mask and see her in person.  That is the last place I saw Alice and I am so thankful for that gift.   I will miss you my friend, your smile, your hugs, your laughter, jokingly calling each other “my partner in crime”, thank you for sharing a piece of your life with me, I will see you again.  Save me a place!  Love you and miss you!  Sandy
