Alice Belle Orrell

Alice Belle Orrell passed away on December 17, 2013 at Life Care Center at the age of 94.Alice was born September 30, 1919 in Covington, OK to Nathan E. and Lettie (Lunger) Cutter. She was the last of her eleven siblings to pass away. Alice married F.C. Jerry Orrell in Enid, OK in 1938. After many years of moving with the oil field industry, they moved to Longmont in 1950. She retired from the St. Vrain School district after many years of working in the food service. Alice was a longtime member of LifeBridge Christian Church and the Silver Spruce Rebecca Lodge where she served many positions at the local and state levels. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She loved to bake and was known for her doughnuts and cinnamon rolls.Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, in 1985.Alice is survived by her two sons, Jerry (Linda) Orrell of Longmont, CO, Larry (Pat) Orrell of Cannon City, CO, two daughters, Lorraine (John) Carlson of Longmont, CO, Lana (Don) Martin of Neosho, MO, twelve grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 20, 2013 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Interment at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
