Angela Rose Schreckengost

Angela Rose Schreckengost at age 59 passed away on Monday, November 14 in her home in Longmont, Colorado after battling cancer.Born September 5, 1952 in Longmont, Angela was raised in Mead, Colorado and spent most of her life in Longmont. She graduated from Longmont High School. She worked for King Soopers in Longmont for 30 years. She has been a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1981 and volunteered much of her life to serving several callings at her church. She very much enjoyed children, spending time with family and friends, church activities, traveling, jigsaw puzzles and games.Angela married and has been the loving wife of her surviving husband Keith Robert Schreckengost for 29 years. She is also the loving mother of Christopher Shawn Hunter (wife Jennifer), Corey Scott Hunter, Aaron Patrick Schreckengost, Keith Anthony Schreckengost (wife Tammy), and Jenny Lynn Schreckengost. She is also the proud grandmother of Zachery Kyle Hunter, Joshua Scott Hunter, Trevour James Springer, Desiree Grayce Hunter, Shawn Eugene Hunter, Ryan Christopher Hunter, and Savannah Kay Schreckengost.Angela's surviving father is Patrick Cecil Burns and her surviving mother is Doris Ann Johnston (Knight) (husband J Knight).Angela's surviving brother is J Knight (wife Kim) and her sisters are Charlette Inskeep (husband Bob), Jo Lynn Fresquez (husband Matt), Tammy Smith, and Kimberly Martin (husband Mike). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held from 10:00 “ 11:00 AM with a funeral service following the visitation at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 18, 2011. All services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1721 Red Cloud Road in Longmont. All friends and family are welcome. Interment at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Angela Schreckengost Memorial Fund for kidney cancer and mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
