Ann B Rausch

Ann B. Rausch, also known as Anna, died on April 29, 2013 at the age of 83. Ann was born in Livingston,Montana on February 27, 1930 to Fred and Mathilda Shellenberg. Her parents came from Switzerland,met and married in America, and settled in Montana where Ann was born and raised. She graduatedfrom high school in Livingston and attended Montana State University in Bozeman.Ann married V. James Eastep in June 1948. They moved to Longmont in 1955 where Dr. Easteppracticed dentistry. They had three children. Ann and Jim divorced after 25 years. Ann married Leo Bair in 1980 and moved to Littleton. Leo died October 1, 2000. After his death, Ann returned to Longmont where she married Richard W. Rausch on April 26, 2008.Ann is survived by her husband Richard of Niwot and by her children, Dr. James Eastep ofSilver Spring, Maryland, Tamara Rogers of Livermore, California and John Eastep of Denver, bytwo brothers, Art and Fred Shellenberg and a sister, Evelyn Strong, all in Montana. She is also survivedby a grandson, Zachary Rogers of Livermore, and by numerous step-children, step-grandchildren,nieces and nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Shellenbergof Livingston.Besides being a homemaker, Ann worked for several years as a realtor for Dworak Agency in Longmont.She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont, and PEO Chapter DI. She was a volunteer at both Longmont United Hospital and Life Care Center. Ann loved to travel, especially to visit her children. Her toy poodle Cricket, a therapy dog, usually accompanied her, and played an important role in Ann's later yearsCremation has been entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. A memorial service for Ann will be held at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont at Third and Terry on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:30AM. Ann's ashes will be buried with her parents in Livingston, MT at 2:00pm Saturday May 11, 2013. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
