Antonio Uvina-Jimenez

Antonio Uviña-Jimenez, 39, of Longmont passed away August 2, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.He was born November 20, 1975 in San Luis del Cordero, Durango, Mexico to Jose Uviña and Antonia Jimenez. Antonio has lived in the United States for the past 25 years.On March 7, 2005 he married Claudia Merjil.Antonio worked as a landscaper.He was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.Antonio was a musician. He played piano, accordion and sang in a band. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Antonio taught his son how to play the piano.He was preceded in death by his mother.Antonio is survived by his wife Claudia, son Aaron and daughter Aiza all of Longmont. He is also survived by his father Jose, five brothers Martin, Fernando, Javier, Jose-Luis and Alfredo and two sisters Sofia and Nena.Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00pm Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am Friday, August 7, 2015 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church. Cremation will follow Mass at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
