

Ashlee Marie Rogge, of Nashville, TN (formerly of Mead, CO), passed away on February 6, 2018. She was 29 years old. Ashlee was born April 27, 1988 in Papillion, NE to Cliff E. and Carol M. (Koldeway) Rogge who live in Mead. Ashlee attended Mead Elementary and Mead Middle School. She graduated from Skyline High School class of 2006. Ashlee participated and excelled in many sports and activities including tennis, volleyball, golf and hunting. Whatever she tried, she did it with her adventurous spirit. Ashlee graduated from CSU with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She went on to dental school at CU Denver and graduated with a DDS. In 2015, Ashlee joined the US Army as a dentist. Captain Rogge was stationed at Ft. Campbell for 2 ½ years in Clarksville, KY.
Other activities Ashlee enjoyed was laying by the pool or ocean and drinking Michelada Red Beer. She loved to dance and even had her own special moves. Ashlee dearly loved her family and friends. She loved people and always looked to help others. She would go above and beyond to do whatever she could for them. Making people laugh and making them feel special was important to her. She loved animals- especially, dogs. Ashlee made friends wherever she went.
In addition to her parents, Ashlee is survived by her brothers, Ryan A. Rogge of Dallas, TX and Shane E. Rogge of Mountain Home, ID; grandmother, Betty Rogge of North Carolina and a host of aunts, uncles and first cousins. Ashlee is also survived by her fiancé, Jake Waltrup. She was so excited about getting married and their future life together.
Ashlee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ron Rogge, Joan Rogge-Thomas, Joan and Richard Koldeway and Ken Thomas, as well as many other relatives.
Visitation will be from 3pm until 5pm Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Howe Mortuary followed by a 6pm Rosary, also at Howe Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be 1pm, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 109 3rd St. in Mead with a reception gathering following.
