Bonnie Jean Little

Bonnie Jean Little passed away July 13, 2019 at Accel in Longmont. She was 81 years old.Bonnie was born May 5, 1938 to Verner and Dorothea (Perez) Makinen in Hancock, MI. She was one of six children and grew up on the upper peninsula of Michigan.Bonnie and her husband, James (Zeke) Little moved to Colorado in 1969. They later divorced. Bonnie was always grateful to Zeke for bringing her to Colorado.Bonnie was a Social Worker with Boulder County for 33 years. She also worked at Work Force Boulder County. She forged lifelong friendships with her co-workers. Bonnie enjoyed art, reading, gardening and her grandchildren. She loved exposing her grandchildren to the arts, whether it be music, museums, or plays. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Pete, Austin, John and Theresa.She is survived by her children Jeordon Little, Erik (Julia) Little and Josh (Beth) Little; her sister Rosemary Ball; her grandchildren Andrew (Courtney), Jacob, Megan and Whitney Rose; her great-grandchildren Mason and Aspen and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial service 1:30pm Saturday July 20, 2019 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
