Bonnie Anne Shannon was born July 9, 1924 in Roda, Virginia. She passed away on August 23, 2011 at her home in Lake Park, Minnesota. Bonnie married her husband Burdette Shannon in May 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had three sons: Lee, Dennis and Earl.
Bonnie worked for Adams County District 12 as a School Bus Driver from 1970 to 1990 when she retired.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother and father, Laura May and Thomas Roberts, her brothers: Tommy, Freddie, Charles and George Roberts, and by her husband Burdette and her son Lee.
Bonnie is survived by her sons Dennis and his wife Cathy and Earl and his fiancé Lindy Olson. She will also be missed by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
