Brian Scott Schrader

Brian ?Scott ? Schrader, Sr. of Longmont, died December 16, 2007 at his residence. He was 45.Scott was born on August 19, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA to Richard Charles Schrader and Gloria Marilyn McKenrick. He grew up in Southern California. He married Maria Aguilera on April 22, 1982 in Los Angeles, California. After finishing school Scott worked in the Automotive Industry, producing oil products for automobiles, he also worked in the chemical area, producing different soap products. After moving to Longmont in 1996, Scott went to work for Lightning Eliminators for a number of years in Boulder. The past few years, he has been in property management, managing a number of properties in Longmont. Scott enjoyed fishing, music and taking long drives with his family, especially in the mountains.Preceding Scott in death is his father. Surviving is his wife, a daughter, Kristal Schrader, and two sons Brian Scott Schrader, Jr. and Matthew James Schrader all of Longmont; his mother of Longmont, two grandchildren Dillon Powers and Jenna Streckenbach both of Longmont; two brothers Gary Smith of Washington and Richard Schrader of Anaheim, CA and a sister Cindy Harris of Longmont.A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., today at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., today at the Howe Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Kathy Hedderman of Longmont United Hospital officiating.Interment will follow at the Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.Contributions may be made to the Scott Schrader Memorial Fund in c/o Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St., Longmont, CO 80501.Please share your thoughts, memories and condolences with the family at www.howemortuary.com.
