Carl "Russ" Pritt

Russ was born on September 2, 1959 in Longmont. Colorado to Ross Ray and Joanne (Mathison) Pritt. He grew up in Longmont, graduating from Longmont High School in 1977.

On May 31, 1986 he married Christine M. Livigni; they divorced in 2015 but Christine continued to care for Russ until his death.

Russ was a Traffic Control Supervisor and was a co-owner of in Longmont Barricade; after the business was shut down he went to work for E-Z Excavating and worked there until his retirement due to Parkinsons Disease.

He was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed the Denver Broncos and CU Buffalos. Russ loved being a Pop Pop to his only grandchild Vinny; together they enjoyed his tractor rodeo, blowing bubbles, many walks in the fields and pulling on Pop Pop’s beard.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Jody Pritt Green and is brother in law Dave Green.

He is survived by his former wife Christine; his children Jeffrey (Amber) Schrader of Springfield, OR and Anthony (Courtney) Pritt of Cheyenne, WY; his grandson Vincent Carl Pritt who was born on June 9, 2021; his nephew Chad (Stephanie) Green and their children Caitlin, Alyssa, Riley Mae, Evelyn and Walter.

A Memorial Service will be held for Russ at 11:00am on Saturday March 9, 2024 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to The Assistance Fund tafcares.org to help pay for Russ’s medication during his Parkinsons Disease journey.
