

Carol grew up in Nederland and attended school there. She graduated from Nederland High in 1957. After graduating she married Ted Clifford and they raised 6 children together. She spent her adult life working tirelessly to provide for her family. The jobs she worked at included waitress, tying trout flies, seamstress, and selling fireworks.
Family and friends were important to Carol during her lifetime. She enjoyed card games, making scrapbooks, crafts, and fishing. She also one time shot a big buck deer in South Dakota. Traditional family dinners on holidays and special occasions were important to her as well.
Carol is survived by five of her children, Cheryl Kutscher of Loveland, Marvin Clifford of Loveland, William Clifford of Fort Morgan, Eric Clifford of Winnemucca, Nevada and Walter Clifford of Woodston, Kansas. Carol is also survived by four of her seven siblings. William Ebersole of California, Anna Motz of Longmont, Harold Ebersole of Alaska and Cathy Balltrip of Greeley. Carol had 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and countless cousins, nieces,nephews and friends that she loved so dearly.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, William and Annie, her sister Joy Briere, sister, Emily Williams, sister, Teddy Solt and her son, Deryl Clifford.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 14, 4:00pm to 6:00pm, at Howe Mortuary located at 439 Coffman St., Longmont,Co. Funeral Services will take place 11:00am, Monday, January 15, 2018, also at Howe Mortuary.
