Carrie A. McPherson, 102, of Longmont passed away June 30, 2013 at Peaks Care Center. She was born April 25, 1911 in Pearl, Illinois to George R. and Nora (Long) Renoad.Carrie moved to the Longmont and Mead area in 1928 from Illinois, she married Eugene McPherson on June 20, 1929. Carrie was a homemaker and worked on the family farm until moving to town.Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene on August 19, 1989, three sisters Eula Ricks, Beatrice Overturf and Georgie Mae Renoad, and two brothers Carol Renoad and Clarence Renoad.Carrie is survived by her nieces, nephews and close personal friend Dennis George.Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
