Charlene K. Befus

Charlene K. Befus, 98, of Longmont, passed away December 30, 2015 in Bellevue, Washington.She was born December 16, 1917 in Denver, CO to George and Katherine (Gable) Krieger.Charlene married Samuel E. Befus on April 2, 1948 in Denver and has made her home in Longmont since that time. She moved to Bellevue in September of 2015.She enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and board games, doing picture puzzles and going to Black Hawk. Charlene was devoted to her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Samuel on June 23, 2009, two brothers Walter and Robert Krieger and two sisters Lillian Riesbeck and Margaret Kretschmar.Charlene is survived by two daughters Cindy Mauck (Roger) of Longmont and Ginger Rademacher (George) of Bellevue, WA, six grandchildren Paul Rademacher, Tom Rademacher, Diane Rademacher, Todd Rademacher, Shawn Mauck and Julie Brisendine and nine great grandchildren Casey and Carver Rademacher, Drake, Kylie and Kyndra Rademacher, Mali and Skyler Rademacher and Logan and Kenzie Brisendine.Memorial services will be held 10:30am Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Private inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
