Chase was born on December 31, 1978 in Pierre, South Dakota to Donna Spangler Rohrer and Steven Rohrer. He moved to Longmont in 1995.
Chase worked in the stucco/plastering business, operating his own company Sublime Stucco. A truly entrepreneurial spirit he tried his hand at many ventures and trades.
Chase was loyal, protective and quick to defend family and friend. Always the loving dad and fun and zany uncle, he’ll be fondly remembered for his big heart. His charisma and handsome good looks would immediately light up a room and draw its full attention. He enjoyed fishing, art, tattoo designs and had previously enthusiastically pursued Jujitsu. His friend and pal Tonka was his inseparable buddy. His ever present devilish nature never got in the way of doting on his mother.
Surviving are his sons Isaac Granger and Calvin Rohrer and his stepson Kian Pillar of Longmont; his mother Donna Bassett of Longmont; sister Stephanie (Travis) Goodson of Firestone; brother Blaine Bassett of Longmont and niece and nephew Brooklynn Goodson and Tristan Goodson. He is further survived by his step-father Bill Bassett, his brother from another mother, Aaron Shirk and numerous aunts, uncles and many lifelong friends.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Golden Ponds waterfall. Please park in the lot south of 3rd Avenue and Hover Street.
Contributions in Chase's memory can be made to Donna Bassett for the Rohrer Children's Education Fund.
