Christopher “Chris” Allen Racine, age 29 of Longmont died March 5, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital. Chris was born July 30, 1983 in Longmont to Garold and Donna (Sciacca) Racine. Chris was a lifelong resident of Longmont and worked as an auto mechanic. His hobbies included anything with an engine and sports. He was a Denver Broncos fan, having converted to the team after the addition of Peyton Manning. Chris was also an LSU fan.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Maydew and his stepfather Stacy of Frederick, his father, Garold Racine of Longmont, two sons, Cody Racine-Simpkins of Mead and Cameron Racine of Loveland. One brother, Nick Sherwin of Longmont and two sisters, Lily Maydew of Frederick and Jennifer Maydew of Ft. Collins also survive Chris. His two grandmothers, Josephine Sciacca of Loveland and Dorothy Racine of Longmont survive, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Howe Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Cris Crisfield officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary.
