Charles (Chuck) Clifford Ferrin was born December 8th, 1963 in LeMars, Iowa to Clifford and Margaret Ferrin. The youngest of 5 children and the first and only boy. Chuck was doted on by his sisters, thus they dubbed him prince Charles. Chuck graduated from Marcus High 1982. He then graduated from the Gateway Electronic Institute in Omaha Nebraska.
A few years down the road he met a wild, beautiful, red headed songbird who matched his zest for life. He knew instantly that she was his best friend and soul mate. The person he would experience every high, low and adventure with; Deborah Ferrin, aka Dora Jean. Their love of music brought them together and six months later they were married. Chuck took to being a dad to Kristen and Calie instantly, and even adopted every cat they snuck into his home. In 2012 they packed up their bags and moved to Colorado where he worked for the University in Boulder. As a diehard husker fan, he was teased relentlessly about his choice in football teams and flaunted his favorite teams’ gear. He was a gifted musician and an accomplished sound man. Chuck loved his IPA’s , rock and roll, wood working, licensed ham radio operator, became a custom brewer, completed every Cisco certification to Architect level, became a Harley fanatic and took on Sturgis and scaled numerous mountains.
His greatest accomplishment of all was being a papa to his six grandchildren and their St. Bernard, Clifford.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Margaret Ferrin; Brother-in-Law Jim Lair; Brother-in-law Jeff White.
