Cynthia 'cindy' Kovach

Cynthia ""Cindy"" Kovach of Longmont died at her residence on October 22, 2008. She was 53. Cynthia Marie was born on January 12, 1955 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to Robert George and Jeanette (Homstad) Rohe. She grew up and attended school in Wheat Ridge, Colorado where she graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. Cindy had two children, Aaron and Sean, from her first marriage. She worked at a number of jobs while raising her sons in Fort Lupton, Colorado. Cindy then married Michael ""Mike"" Kovach in 1984 in Evanston, Wyoming. Mike had two sons, Steve and Jeritt from his first marriage.While in Evanston, Luke, the fifth son of the family, was born. The family enjoyed many outdoor activities in the Wyoming mountains. Cindy earned her associate's degree at Western Wyoming College in Evanston, Wyoming. In 1990, the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Cindy was involved with church, part-time work and volunteer activities.They returned to Fort Lupton in 1996 to be close to family and enjoy the country life. Cindy and Mike moved to Longmont in 2005 where they formed close friendships in the community. Cindy enjoyed visiting with family and friends, being involved in Bible studies and spending time in the mountains.Her father preceded Cindy in death. She is survived by her husband, Mike; her mother, Jeanette ""Jan"" Rohe of Colorado Springs; three sons: Aaron Anderson and his wife Ann of Dallas, Texas, Sean Anderson of Longmont, and Luke Kovach of Longmont; two step-sons: Steve Kovach and his wife Julie of Fruita and Jeritt Kovach of Grand Junction; four grandchildren: Alex Anderson, Natalee Anderson, Jordan Kovach and Tyler Kovach; and a sister, Constance Rohe of Divide, Colorado.Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24 at Howe Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25 at the Ft. Lupton First United Methodist Church, 306 Park Avenue in Ft. Lupton with Pastors Hugh Harris and Dennis Bradley officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado on Sunday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m.
