Dana Jo Pechin

Dana Jo Pechin of Longmont, died December 10 at her residence. She was 45.Dana was born on January 24, 1962 in Ft. Madison, Iowa to Walter Lee Siegrist and Wanda Jean Crabtree Siegrist. She was raised in Iowa graduating from Ft. Madison High School. She moved to Longmont shortly after in 1980. Dana married David Pechin in October 1985 in Longmont. They were later divorced.Dana enjoyed gardening, cooking, football and NASCAR. She will be fondly remembered for her compassionate caring soul and big heart, providing a warm meal or a dry room when someone was down on his or her luck.Preceding her in death is her father.Surviving are her mother of West Point, Iowa; two sons Riley Pechin of Platteville, CO and Logan Haynes of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers Neil Siegrest and his wife Dale and Mark Siegrist and his wife Laurie both of Longmont, a sister Patricia Ealy and her husband Daryl of Ft. Madison, Iowa and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.A cremation has been entrusted to the Howe Mortuary and Crematory.Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.Contributions may be made to the O.U.R.
