David Allen Lindenberger

David was born in Morris, MN to Ray and Dorothy (Marquardt) Lindenberger. He graduated from Morris, High School in 1958 and from the University of Minnesota St. Cloud in 1962 with a Bachelors in Business.

On August 10, 1963 he married Karen Grose. Together they lived in multiple locations before settling down in Arvada, CO in 1991 from Farmington, NM.

David was a store manager for Kmart for 31 years until he retired in 2002; following that he drove a bus for RTD for 10 years until 2013.

David was of the Lutheran faith. He was a 4H member in High School. In his free time he collected model trains and enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos.

David was preceded in death by his parents; his son John Lindenberger and his sister Doris Donaldson.

He is survived by his wife Karen of Arvada; his sons Jeffrey Allen Lindenberger of Arvada and James Michael Lindenberger and wife Tracy of Jackson, CA; his daughter in law Sali Lindenberger of North Platte, NE; his grandchildren Anna Lindenberger of Arvada, Josh Lindenberger of Houston, TX, Zack Dutra of Roseville, CA and Alexandra Dutra of Philadelphia, PA; and his niece Tracy Donaldson of Thornton, CO.

Visitation will be at 9:30-10:00 am with a Funeral service following at 10:00 am on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at Ahlberg funeral Chapel. Burial at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
