

Deborah Gail Langer Zarich DebMarch 12th 1951 “ June 30th 2018Deborah was born in Maryville, MO on March 12th, 1951. Aggressive cancer took her life on Saturday June 30th, under the attentive care of TRU Hospice, surrounded by friends, and loved ones. Her family moved to Colorado when she was six years old. As a child, Debbie could always be found in a corner reading a book. She had a brilliant, inquisitive mind and was reading high school level books by the first grade. She continued her love of reading throughout her life, often reading several books a week.Debbie was a talented musician. She played the violin through school and was also a talented pianist. She had a tremendous singing voice. In high school her love of drama was ignited. She loved acting but loved directing and producing even more. She was the student director of her high school musical, The Unsinkable Molly Brown. She continued to pursue her love of theater through college at Colorado Mountain College. Her love for theatre became a lifelong passion. She contributed a great deal of time to the production of hundreds of plays at community theaters in Woodland Park and Longmont, CO. She and her husband Mike were an inseparable team designing and building many incredible sets for Longmont Theater Company. Debbie was an earth angel who gave her heart and service to the care of others. She spent a great deal of her time volunteering. She worked as a Vista volunteer, hospice nurse, and caregiver. She also taught drama for more than a decade at Olde Columbine High School. For the past few years of her life she was the loyal caregiver of her husband, Mike Zarich and her mother Eva Jean Langer. She gave her life, selflessly to serve those around her in need. She was an incredible mother to all her children, a wonderful wife, a tremendous friend, and caring grandmother.Deb is survived by her loving daughters Mina, Willow, and Kalyca of Longmont, Son Michael J. (Susan) Zarich of Huston TX. Deb was pre-deceased by her heroic husband Mike, and sons Jonas and Abe. Deb leaves behind 7 amazing grandchildren. Debbie will be greatly missed.Services will be held Saturday July 7th, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Longmont Theatre Company 513 Main Street Longmont, Co - with a celebration of her life following immediately after.
