Donald Peter Patrone

Donald Peter Patrone, of Longmont passed away September 15, 2016 at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Lafayette. He was 73.Peter was born April 19, 1943 to Dominic and Angeline (Gatti) Patrone in Youngstown, Ohio. He graduated from Youngstown High School, received a BS at Bowling Green State University and a Master's degree at Zavier University.Peter was an owner/operator of several businesses. On June 5, 1971 Peter married Patricia Kurtz in Manhattan Beach, California. He served in the US Air Force from 1970-1973. After serving in the military they moved to Colorado and to Longmont in 1995.Peter was of catholic faith. He was a Boy Scout leader who enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved animals especially his dog Ruben.Peter is survived by his wife, Patty Patrone; two sons, Peter Jon Patrone (Lucia) and Will Thomas Patrone; grandson Nick Patrone and two brothers Larry Patrone (Pat) and John Patrone. He is preceded in death by his parents.A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, September 19, 2016 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
