Donald Schroeder

Donald ""Don"" Schroeder of Longmont, Colorado, died suddenly of natural causes at his home on September 3, 2008. He was 48. Don was born on February 12, 1960 in White Plains, New York to Norman and Gladys (Kirby) Schroeder. He grew up and attended school in White Plains. Following high school, Don attended Regis University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree. Don married Julie Ann Tancredo in Westminster, Colorado on March 12, 1988. Don and Julie were members of LifeBridge Christian Church. Don was a ""people person"" who was a fantastic salesman. He enjoyed being around others and making them laugh and he loved to cook and entertain. His greatest love was for his family and being around them. Don was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Julie; his step-son Brandon Bland and his wife Megan of Thornton; two sons: Paul and Joe Schroeder of Longmont; his daughter Lauren of Longmont; two brothers: Ken Schroeder and his wife Jan of Arvada and Andy Schroeder of Aurora; and one sister, Lydia Parker and her husband Bob of Castle Rock. Visitation will be held at Howe Mortuary on Sunday, September 7 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. at LifeBridge Christian Church with Donnie Bennett. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery on Monday. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a contribution to the; FBO Schroeder Family Fund, for the kid's education. Donations may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank location.
