He loved listening to barbershop music and accompanying Pam to the Sweet Adelines concerts in which she performed. He attended Longs Peak United Methodist Church where he spent hours as a behind-the-scenes administrative volunteer.A man of few words, Doug showed his caring nature and generosity in doing for others. He was proud of his military service and always supported other veterans, especially those who served in war zones.Doug was known for his love of animals, his hospitality, his sense of fair play and his bear hugs. His friends will remember him (with affection and humor) as a man who never met a mashed potato he didn't like.
