Emma Olvera Love, 73, of Longmont died September 27, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital. Emma was born July 29, 1940 in Mission, Texas to Joaquin and Mary (Zapata) Herrera. She married Richard Love on May 23, 1958 in Abilene, Texas.
Emma worked as a key punch operator until her retirement in 1990. In her free time she loved to be outside and enjoyed gardening. She enjoyed frequent trips to Blackhawk and also enjoyed going out for breakfast and lunch with family and friends.
Emma is survived by her husband Richard of Longmont, daughter Denise Love (Bruce McCullogh) of Fort Lupton, sisters Betty Alvarez, Lupe Barrera, and Minnie Gonzalez, and sister-in-law Beatrice Olvera. Emma is further survived by her grandson Ryan Fountain and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, a brother Arturo Olvera, and sister Angela Davidson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
