Felix Jimenez Jr.

Felix Jimenez Jr. the third also known as El Baby was born January 7th 1995 to Felix Jimenez Jr. and Brenda Chavez in Longmont, CO where he lived his entire life. Felix passed away February 14th 2020 at the age of 25, he leaves behind two beautiful children Adrian and Sophia. Felix was part of a large family and in his short life he worked hard to be the best Father, Son, Brother, Nephew and Cousin he could be. He is survived by his Grandparents Felix and Carolina Jimenez, Father Felix, Stepmother Claudia, his sisters Melissa and Julissa his brothers Elias and Esteban. His Uncles Adam, Jose Guadalupe, Juan, Abel, Mario and Isac. His aunts Hilaria, Eva, Jennifer, Krista, Jenee, and Francisca who he considered his second mom. He leaves behind nineteen cousins; Gabriela, Mikayla, Alina, Briana, Caleb, Fabian, Abel, Aimee, Royce, Noah, Diego, Ivan, Cayden, Sara, Victor, Angela, Isabel, Mateo and Saul.

It is impossible to name all of the memories he will leave with all of us. If there was one thing, he enjoyed more than anything was spending time with family. He loved visiting his Grandparents and loved their cooking, no matter what time he had to be at work in the morning he knew his grandfather would be awake to make him his favorite burritos. He worked alongside his Father for most of his life and loved to spend quality time on the road alone to talk about life and enjoy each other’s company. He loved to tease and prank his aunts whether it was Eva’s height, Hilaria’s and Francisca’s leggings or teasing his aunt Jennifer’s Texas accent it was his way of showing his love and affection. Whenever birthday cake candles were about to be blown out his brothers, sisters and cousins knew to look for him because they knew Felix was ready to shove their face in it. He learned a lot of this from his uncle Isac whom he looked at as a second dad. Felix was an avid sports fan and loved watching his Denver Broncos and Boston Celtics. One of his favorite past times was playing basketball with his uncles and cousins.

His children Sophia and Adrian not only carry his likeness but inherited his characteristics. Sophia has the biggest heart and is so caring. She looks after her little brother much like Felix did his siblings and cousins. It is hard to find any picture of Felix where he is not smiling and the same goes for his son Adrian. They share the same smile that not only would light up a room but it is the type of smile that makes you feel good knowing they are happy. His children are left to carry his legacy and we are left to teach them of the love and care their father had for them. Felix will now be looking over us from above, he will be smiling bright, guiding us and reminding everyone daily to keep living life for him.
