
Francie Graham of Mead, died November 15, 2006 at her residence. She was 65.Francie was born on February 13, 1941 in Gilman, CO to Frank Palombo and Nellie Stanley Palombo. She was raised on farms in Weld County attending schools in Mead and graduating from Mead High School in 1959. Mrs. Graham married Robert Roscoe Graham on a February 11, 1959 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Mrs. Graham was a farmer her entire life, hard work was one of her most honorable values. After her marriage, the Graham?s bought and leased numerous acres in the Mead area. Her husbands death in 1994 didn?t extinguish her love for the farm, she continued to rise early to do a days work every year that followed.Mrs. Graham?s focus outside of farming was her grandchildren. The little white farm house was place for holiday dinners and Francie?s famous waffle breakfasts. She was not only an amazing grandmother, but a friend and a voice of wisdom. It wasn?t uncommon to see Francie Graham with her hands in the air on her way down a massive water slide at water world on trips with the grandkids. Surviving are her a son Michael Graham and his wife Marni of Mead, two daughters Shelli Michener of Longmont and Karen Zawacki and her husband Dan, a brother Rocky Palombo and his wife Leona, six grandchildren Miranda and Allen Michener, Aimee and Daniel Zawacki and Chelsey and Alex Graham, a mother-in-law Clara Graham and nieces and nephews Tamara, Brian, and Darren Palombo, all of whom love and miss her deeply.There will be no visitation hours.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel with David Bradshaw of LifeBridge Christian Church officiating.Interment will follow at the Foothills Gardens of Memory.Contributions may be made to Donor Alliance, 720 S.
