

Georgia May Warren of Longmont, Colorado, died May 24, 2008, at Life Care Center. She was 75.Georgia was born in Longmont on March 21, 1933, to General Jack Thompson and Helen Terry Thompson. She was raised in Longmont, graduating from Longmont High School in 1950.In addition to being a homemaker, Georgia worked in the medical field for a number of years in Colorado, Florida and Montana. She worked for Longmont United Hospital in central supply, providing sterilization for the surgical department.She was active in local bowling leagues and enjoyed many different card games with both family and friends. She most recently had been an active resident at the Mountain View Plaza.Preceding her in death are her parents, her husbands, Clifford ""Tut"" Sandersen and Robert Warren, and a sister, Colleen Naso.Surviving are two sons, Doug (Deb) Sandersen of Longmont, and Norm (Michelle) Sandersen of Loveland; a daughter, Sharon (Greg) Friebel of Shelby, Ohio; a sister Jeanette (Henry) Masengale of Loveland; five grandchildren, Audrey (Aric) Viers, Christopher Friebel, Michael ""Skeeter"" Lempka, ""Boomer"" Sandersen, and Emily Sandersen; and a great-grandchild, Adison Viers.A cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.Contributions may be made to the St. Vrain School Special Education Program, 395 S.
