Gladys Pearl Krause

Gladys Pearl Krause passed away January 23, 2019 at Life Care Center in Longmont. She was 78 years old.Gladys was born on November 2, 1940 in G ssel, KS to Daniel and Pauline (Schmidt) G rtzen. She graduated from G ssel Rural High School in 1959 and from Bethel College with a degree in Biology in 1965.She married Ronald Krause on March 7, 1970 at the Wheat Ridge Methodist Church. She worked as a Medical Technologist for numerous labs and hospitals throughout her career.Gladys was a member of Bear Valley Church in Lakewood, belonged to the Red Hat Society and enjoyed bible studies.Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Ronald; her parents and her brothers Eldon and Homer G rtzen.She is survived by her children Brian (Jolie) Krause and Sheryl (Robert) Collier; her stepchildren Rhonda (Jeff) Russell, Ken (Donna) Krause and Deborah Madrid; her grandchildren Caleb, Adam, Eli, Yaakov, Kefa, Levi, Dylan, Taylor, Alyssa, Hunter, Micah, Aaron, Leah, Denae, Monique and Briette; and her nieces Brenda and Debra and nephew Stanley.A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm Friday February 1, 2019 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service 10:00am Saturday February 2, 2019 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Erie. Memorial contributions can be made to Samaritan's Purse.
