
Glenn Alan Roberts entered into the House of the Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. He was born in Denver on May 15, 1944 to Alice Bunny (Aronson) Roberts and Glenn A. Roberts, both of whom preceded him in death. Glenn is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sharon Sikes Roberts; his children, Alan Jr. and Lia; his brother, Merlin Roberts (Karen); his stepsisters, Julie Smith and Mary Jean Currier (Gray); two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Glenn attended Longmont High School and graduated from Arvada High School. He attended University of Colorado. Glenn was a supervisor with the City of Longmont Utility Department for five years and later an EMT for a number of years. Due to health, Glenn has been unable to work for many years and has been a resident of Cinnamon Park Assisted Living Facility for the last several years. Visitation will be 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, with family present to greet friends. Funeral Service will be 11 AM on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Longmont Church of the Nazarene, 2111 Mountain View Avenue, with Roger Freels officiating. Interment at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association or the Longmont Humane Society and mailed to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.Glenn was a child of the Lord and now rests in His arms.
