Glenn was born in Johnstown, Colorado and grew up on the family farm. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown. In 1966 he married Sara Hines, together they moved to Boulder and then on to Longmont in 1977.
Glenn worked for the Colorado State Highway Department doing road and highway maintenance and operating heavy equipment. He enjoyed driving all over Colorado and the United States and spending time with his dog Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sara; his parents; three siblings and his dog Kelly.
Glenn is survived by his son Edward (Melanie) Welham; his grandchildren Zachary and Vincent Welham and two siblings.
