Harold Henry Pelle

Harold Henry Pelle, 77, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 of lung cancer. Harold was born August 29, 1936 to Henry and Catherine Pelle in Stratton, Colorado, one of 9 children. He is a graduate of Stratton High School, and served 2 years in the Army.Harold married Camilla Mae Werner on May 1, 1958. He worked for the Rock Island railroad for several years before relocating to Boulder, Colorado in 1962. He was a Colorado State Patrolman for 6 years before going into business with Marvin Brown, in Marv's Towing Service in 1970, opening Pearl Street Auto Salvage several years later.Harold was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He was an excellent wood working craftsman.Harold is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Catherine Pelle; brothers, Don and Robert Pelle; and daughter Deborah Kay Droste. Harold is survived by his wife of 55 years, Camilla; son J (Stephanie); son John (Roxanna); daughter, Donna McNeiley (Bernie); son-in-law Frank Droste, 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and 6 sisters. Visitation will be 3:30 to 4:30pm Sunday Oct. 20, family will be present to greet friends; with Rosary Prayers following at 4:30 Sunday all at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6789 S. Boulder Rd., Boulder, CO. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Marcus Mallick officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital can be sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
