Helen Borgens Stroh was born May 15, 1911 in Johnstown, Colorado. She died February 10, 2015 at Life Care Center of Longmont. She grew up on a farm in the Johnstown/Loveland area. She married Karl Stroh of Loveland in 1931. They lived in Loveland until 1942 when they moved to a farm east of Longmont. They farmed in the Longmont area until 1974 when they retired and moved to Longmont.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Karl and her son Dwayne and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Virginia Johnson, her daughter in law Shirley Stroh, her grandchildren Jayne Rhode, Karla Nuss, Tim Stroh and Lynda Smith. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel in Longmont. Burial will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. A reception will be held after the burial in the Howe Mortuary Event Room.
