Jackson Miles Patterson

Jackson Miles Patterson, age 1, passed away July 23, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.Jackson was born December 1, 2013 at Exempla Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO to John and Ashley (Schr der) Patterson. Life for Jackson and his family made a sudden and unwanted change in November of 2014 when he was diagnosed with a Rhabdoid tumor, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. However, Jackson was a fighter; he fought hard to defy the overwhelming odds against him. Jackson displayed great strength during his fight, inspiring all of the members of Team Jackson who rallied to his side. Jackson is survived by his parents John and Ashley, brother Tristan and sister Emma, grandparents Jeff and Pam Patterson, Byron Schr der and Cathy and Jayson Baldwin, great grandparents Clarence Mortenson and Jean Mortenson, aunts and uncle Melanie Patterson and Jon and Courtney Schr der.Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30am Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver. In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Baldrick's Foundation can be sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
