Jacob was born on August 30, 1983 in Loveland CO. He passed on June 10, 2021 in Longmont CO
He was 37 years old
Jacob's parents divorced in 1985. He was raised by his Mom, Debbie, with the help of his Grandma Ursula Young, Grandpa Russell Young and Great Aunt Donna Graham, and Great Uncle Hank Graham. When Jacob was 14 his Mom met and married Michael Blume. Mike and Jacob hit it off pretty well, but as we all know, Jacob can be stubborn. Mike has the same stubbornness so sometimes things were a little difficult. After a few rounds between the two of them Jacob started calling Mike DAD and Mike loved it. In 1999 Debbie and Mike got married. Into the marriage Mike bought his young daughter Anne. Jacob took it upon himself immediately to become The Big Brother. Anne loved her Big Brother with all her heart. Even though there was a big age difference the two of them got along very well and had fun together. They definitely were brother and sister
Jacob had a heart of gold. He would help anyone he could. He had a great smile and an infectious laugh. He could light up the room, or defuse a bad situation.
One of Jacob's favorite sayings is "I hate people!!!" but yet he was great at dealing with the public. Jacob was very easy going. He liked to have fun, even at work and made sure that his family and friends were having fun with him.
Jacob loved the mountains and fishing. Even when he was young he would go fishing any time he could.
Jacob also loved bowling. He started bowling at age 9 and when he had to quit because of health reasons he carried a 184 average.
Jacob love Baseball. When he was young he played Baseball in Loveland. One team he played for was "The Dog House" which was owned by Simon Fletcher.
When the kids had picture day, Simon came to the ball field and signed autographs for all the kids, not just the kids that played on his team.
Jacob loved the Broncos, so when he met Simon Fletcher he was very proud.
In 2011 Jacob along with his parents and Grandpa Bob Blume opened Wing Shack in Longmont CO. He worked tirelessly in the restaurant alongside his parents. Without Jacob's help, the restaurant wouldn't have been what it was. In 2018 Jacob left Wing Shack due to health issues. But he was seen there a lot and helped when he could.
As he got older his health issues got worse. He tried to be the best person he could, and still made people laugh.
Jacob is survived by his Parents, Mike and Debbie Blume, Little Sister Anne Walker and husband Eric, Grandpa Bob Blume and Aunt Pattee Drager. He is also survived by Cousins Christine Test, husband Garrett and children, Trevor Lara, Cheryl Swets husband Kenny and one son. He also leaves behind great friends in Jennifer Davis, husband Christopher and son Jackson. He leaves behind many other family members as well as many friends.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Agape Family Services where he lived at the time of his death. Special thanks go to Pastor Gary, Delaney, Catherine and Jessica. A big thanks to Mark for taking him to Doctor appointments, shopping and pretty much where ever he would like to go.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
