Jalene Marie Jaspers

moment of her passing, she was ushered from this life and into the presence of her Lord

and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jalene was born on March 16, 1968 in Loveland, CO to Howard and LoRee Scott. The

seventh of eight children, she was raised in the Front Range area. She graduated from

Faith Baptist High School in 1986, and then went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in

Church Ministries from Northland Baptist Bible College. While at Northland, she met her

best friend, Torrey Jaspers, whom she married June 22, 1990. The two purposed

together early on to give their life to the Lord by serving Him and His church. During

those years of service, she became a mother to Victoria and Isaac, her two children

whom she adored. Her family was always her first priority, but her doors were open to

everyone. Many lives were touched by her loving hospitality, and endless supply of

“froofy” coffee.

Jalene’s legacy is one of joy and truth. Most recently, she assisted her husband Torrey,

one of the pastors at FaithPoint Church in Longmont in his ministry. She truly cared for

the people in her life, and wanted to see all around her loved and cared for. Her heart

was for discipleship and growth in the Christian life. Although her physical presence

may now be absent from us, her influence truly lives on in those whom she so deeply

invested in.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, and two sisters, Martha and Gloria.

She leaves behind her best friend and husband, Torrey, her two children, Victoria and

Isaac, two sisters, three brothers, and countless many lives touched by her loving and

joyful ministry. She will be deeply missed by her church family at FaithPoint Church,

whom she dearly loved.
