
Jeffrey ""Jeff"" Beyer, of Evans, formerly of Longmont, died October 31, 2008 near Gill, Colorado following an accident at his work.Jeff was born on July 3, 1968 in Minot, North Dakota to Bryan Beyer and Jean Wurtz Beyer. Moving to Colorado in 1989, he had worked the past number of years in the area. He was with Del Camino Service Plaza for 7 years, before joining Home Builders Company, Longmont as a truck driver. The past few years he has been working in the oil fields, as a truck driver for Ensign United States Drilling of LaSalle, Colorado.A free spirit, Jeff was a man of varied interests. He was a musician, have played in many garage bands and performed for with the group ""Animia."" In addition, he built guitars, using his trade name of Beyer's Custom Guitars. A motorcycle enthusiast, he has owned and ridden bikes for many years, riding Harley Davidson's and more recently an Indian bike. An artist, he enjoyed designing and giving tattoos. A pastime for he and his family was fishing.Surviving are his parents Bryan Beyer and his wife Brenda of Minot, his mother Jean Beyer of Minot, lifelong partner Cathy Lewerke of Evans; two sons Tory and Alexx Beyer of Littleton; step daughters Cathenina and Mickaylin Lewerke of Evans; brothers Scott Beyer and his wife Laurie and Marc Beyer of Minot, and Jay Beyer and his wife Jennifer of Green Bay, Wisconsin and two nieces Emma and Anna Beyers A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. Friends are encouraged to ride their motorcycles to the services.Following services in Jeff's memory, a motorcycle escort will leave from the mortuary to Greeley for a gathering and reception at the Moose Lodge, 3456 11th Ave., Evans, Colorado.
